Everybody Deserves a Birthday

I feel like I'm getting old. Not sure why it's this age that hits me the most. Maybe it's because graduation is getting closer, or because I'm actually establishing a real, legitimate business. But it's nothing cheesecake can't make feel better...

Hmm...which gift should I pick?

While this might not be a popular subject for many photographers to address on their blog, it's one that is near and dear to my heart. So for my birthday, my sister and I went to a life chain where we stood holding signs for an hour. It was interesting seeing other people's reactions to our signs. Some beeped happily, others yelled obscenities, most were quiet. I used part of the time to capture the event in pictures. We weren't a big group, but it was wonderful to see other like-minded individuals standing for life. Because everybody deserves a birthday.

I love the picture of the little blondie holding the sign.

Btw, good choice of Ice Cream after the Stand for Life chain :P

And you really should have sent these in to the newspaper. Find out now how to do it for the future! :)

I can't believe I forgot your birthday! I'm so sorry, but as it's the first time, I hope you'll forgive me.;-) Looks like you had a productive day!

Happy birthday!

I agree, everyone does deserve a birthday! Is the Chain for Life part of the 40 Days for Life initiative?
(40 days of prayer and fasting, with pray vigils at Abortion clinics...it started in Sept and goes thru Nov. 2nd. Our Church is very busy with that right now.)
