It was raining on their wedding day, but Becky and George were determined that they were getting married at the Biblical Gardens. It wasn't until they pulled into the parking lot that the rain broke into sunshine. It was a beautiful day to get married.
Twelve years later the weather was again being unpredictable. Snow, rain, hail…but we were determined to take a chance anyway. As I drove up to the gardens, I looked up to see blue skies and puffy white clouds. It was a beautiful day for family portraits!
For once a very favorite comes first!
Going to the chapel where they got married!
If you look closely and squint a little, you can see four little heads up on the bridge.
These little girlies are as sweet as they look!
While this little boy has boundless energy, a small treat can coax him into staying still for a second or two!
They may not have been able to see the future, but as crazy as life can be sometimes, I don't think George and Becky would change a thing!

Those are so sweet, Lydia! :)
Lovely job, Lydia! That first one is so cute. What a wonderful setting for portraits...I think I'm jealous of the red barn. I've been looking for a portrait-shoot-worthy red barn that's camera-accessible for...well, ever since I got my camera. =)
Becky used to be one of my blog friends. I miss her! It was SO fantastic to see these pictures today. She is a lovely women. And those kids.... how cute are they? The cutest : )
