Snowage

With more than 150 lbs of acorns in my yard this past fall, I should've known it was going to be a crazy winter. After losing power 6 times, you really get a system together for grabbing the candles and flashlights, powering up the generator, and running electric cords up the stairs. But now that's it's April, I thought we had acquired the snowpack we needed for the year. So imagine my surprise yesterday when from a sunny with puffy clouds sky, snow started falling! Complete with hail and 5 minutes of hard rain, it was the craziest weather ever! I've never experienced anything like it. Someone please tell spring we're ready for it with arms wide open!

My instagram journal from this winter:

A generator keeping our phone lines powered?

This snowman took weeks to melt!

So here I am blogging about the weather...oh the things that interest a photographer! :-)

Oh man! How sad! Well, maybe you could get some April skiing in... =)

I'd say the colossal snowman might just make up for the April snow. In the meantime, you could always come down our way...we had eighty degree weather last weekend. =)

The snowman is from earlier this winter...biggest I've ever seen! Today is actually gorgeous! Cold, but blue skies full of fluffy white clouds and no snow! :-D
